This page explains how you can delete your Sultan's Gambit account and the data associated with it. You can delete your account directly in the app, or request deletion by email if you can no longer access the app.

Option 1 — Delete your account inside the app

The fastest way to permanently delete your account:

  1. Open Sultan's Gambit on your device.
  2. Go to Settings → Account → Delete Account.
  3. Read the warning that lists the data to be deleted and confirm you wish to continue.
  4. Confirm your identity when prompted (re-enter your password, or sign in again with your Google account).
  5. Type DELETE in the final confirmation field to permanently delete your account.

This action cannot be undone. Once confirmed, your account and personal data are removed from our systems.

Option 2 — Request deletion by email

If you can no longer access the app (for example, you uninstalled it or lost access to your account), you can request deletion by email:

  • Email: barrierefix@gmail.com
  • Subject: "Sultan's Gambit Account Deletion Request"
  • Send from the email address registered to your account, and include your in-game player display name so we can locate your account.

We will verify your request and process the deletion within 30 days. We may contact you to confirm your identity before deleting the account.

What data is deleted

When your account is deleted, the following data is permanently removed:

  • Account information — email address, player display name, user ID, and authentication data
  • Profile and game statistics — level, experience, rank, and progress
  • Card collection and decks — owned cards and saved deck configurations
  • In-game currency balances — Akçe and Elmas balances
  • Social data — friend list, friend requests, and in-game messages
  • Purchased content — virtual items and currency granted to your account (these are forfeited on deletion)

What data is retained

  • Match history: Records of past matches are anonymized (disconnected from your identity) but may be preserved to maintain fairness and integrity for other players.
  • Transaction records: Purchase and payment records may be retained where required to comply with legal, tax, and accounting obligations — up to 7 years — as described in our Privacy Policy. These records are kept for legal compliance only and are not used to identify you within the game.

Note on purchases

Deleting your account forfeits all virtual items and in-game currency. Deleting your Sultan's Gambit account does not cancel any Google Play subscriptions. Manage or cancel subscriptions in the Google Play Store under your account settings.
