Welcome to Barrierefix! These Terms and Conditions ("Terms") govern your use of our website at barrierefix.de and the associated services (collectively, the "Service"), operated by Serhat Cakmaktepe.

By accessing or using the Service, you agree to be bound by these Terms and our Privacy Policy. If you disagree with any part of the terms, you may not access the Service.

  • "Terms" refers to these Terms and Conditions.
  • "User", "You" refers to the person or company using the Service.
  • "We", "Us" refers to Serhat Cakmaktepe.
  • "Content" refers to all information provided through the Service.

3. Services

We offer website accessibility services, including:

  • WCAG 2.1 AA Compliance Audits
  • Accessible Website Development
  • BFSG Compliance Consulting
  • Accessibility Monitoring and Support

All services are provided in accordance with current WCAG 2.1 standards and German laws (BFSG). Specific services are defined in separate contracts or proposals.

4. Pricing and Payment

Current prices for our services can be found on our website or obtained upon request. All prices are exclusive of applicable VAT.

Invoices are due for payment within 14 days of the invoice date without deduction. In case of late payment, we reserve the right to charge default interest at 8 percentage points above the base rate.

5. Contract Duration and Termination

The contract duration depends on the respective offer or contract. One-time services end upon complete delivery of the service.

Ongoing service contracts may be terminated by either party with one month's notice to the end of the month, unless otherwise agreed.

6. Liability and Warranty

We provide all services to the best of our knowledge and in accordance with current website accessibility standards. However, we cannot guarantee specific results or complete protection from legal claims.

Our liability is limited to intent and gross negligence. In cases of slight negligence, we are only liable for breach of essential contractual obligations and limited to foreseeable damages.

7. Copyright and Usage Rights

All content, reports, and documentation created by us remain our property. You receive a non-exclusive right of use for the agreed purposes.

Sharing or reproducing our services to third parties requires our written consent.

8. Data Protection

The protection of your data is important to us. Details on data processing can be found in our Privacy Policy.

9. Applicable Law and Jurisdiction

German law applies to all legal relationships, excluding the UN Convention on Contracts for the International Sale of Goods (CISG).

The place of jurisdiction for all disputes is Munich, provided you are a merchant, legal entity under public law, or special fund under public law.

10. Severability Clause

Should individual provisions of these Terms be or become invalid, the validity of the remaining provisions shall remain unaffected. Invalid provisions shall be replaced by those that most closely correspond to the economic purpose of the invalid provision.

11. Changes to Terms

We reserve the right to amend these Terms. We will inform you in good time about significant changes. Continued use of our Service after changes take effect constitutes acceptance of the amended terms.
